String and Glue Easter Eggs Made with a Balloon

Due to scurrying and hurrying to get to work this morning while also trying to get a couple 'cheap and easy' Easter crafts up well, before uh, Easter, I am thanking the Google gods this morning for a photo of this craft.

Yarn Easter eggs.

Yarn or String
1 pkg. water balloons
Tacky Glue or White Glue (like school glue)

Blow up as many balloons as you want Easter Eggs.  Pour the glue into a bowl and add about a tablespoon of glitter per container of glue.  Cut your string or yarn into pieces from 1 to 3 feet long.  Push the string/yarn into the glue to cover.  Remove excess glue by pulling the string or yarn through your thumb and forefinger as you pull it out of the bowl.  Start wrapping the balloon over and over again with the string until the entire string is wrapped around the balloon. Be sure to criss cross the string to hold it all together.

Let the string dry overnight, then pop the balloon and remove it.  These are fun to put in a big basket or bowl for decoration or string them up to hang!
