As I sit, sipping my coffee deciding which budget friendly tip to blog about this morning I hear the tap tap tap at the window and smile. 
Ah yes, our little friend is still here, still trying to get into our home.
Photos of hawks could not deter him (although only two are shown in the above photo I actually had 6 up and he still didn't care). You can also see that I tried magazine pages up which only made him go to another window until my embarrassment from neighbors thinking we were out of our minds made me take them down.

It seems like such a minor inconvenience, to have a cute little yellow bird trying so hard to enter your home but really, it's nerve wracking.
To hear a continuous tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap makes even the most patient persons teeth set on edge. My 13 year old has implored me, "Can't we just let him in!?" And tried to talk me into buying a bird cage at the pet store to trap him in and keep him. Another irritating factor besides the noise is the poop he is leaving on our window.
We know he'll have to give up some time... he can't keep this up all summer long. Can he?
