Our Visitor... that won't leave

Although I typically write articles about product reviews, sales, coupon codes, DIY projects and budgeting, this mornings post is a little different. As I sip my morning coffee I'm going to introduce you to our visitor this week. The one that won't leave.

He showed up about 3 days ago, determined to get into our home. First he tried the door. Then the sidelights. Then the window. When he couldn't find a way in he came around the back side and tried the patio door. Nope. The kitchen window? Tried it. Didn't work.

The cats were going crazy the first day. A broken picture frame from the sofa table tells the tale.





My 'budget friendly' way of trying to keep him from pecking constantly at our windows? Tablecloths stapled up over the windows and a fabric napkin taped on the glass of the door.

The fabric in the windows only slowed him down but didn't stop completely. And honestly, after living in a 'cave' I decided the pecking would be better than the darkness and ugly view from the curb.

This morning, after 3 days of constant knocking on our windows I'm wondering if perhaps the darkness would be better. After all, it's like living with a 3 year old knocking on your windows from 6:am - 9:pm every day.
