As a child I remember my Mom getting little catalogs in the mail for household items that you didn't know you needed until you saw them. You know the stuff, swivel auto cushions, a hamburger press, lap trays, memo cubes and Cloverine Salve. It was 1980 and while it was exciting to see the latest catalog had come in that days mail, it was even more exciting when my Mom would announce that she was placing an order and I could find a few items in their clearance section "$.88 each!) to put in her order. I would pour over that little magazine for two hours finding all the great items I thought we should buy.
Yesterday in my email I got a notice that they are rolling back shipping prices to sixty-six cents for orders over $35. Just for kicks I went to the site to see what products they had and sure enough, within 1 minute I had about 4 items I realized I 'needed'. Wow, 29 years later and I'm still excited over Walter Drake magazine. LOL.
