Last week I read in the news Circuit City would be closing down stores. When I told my husband this and we reminisced about buying one of our first tv's there, he said he also heard that Eddie Bauer was closing some as well as a few Gaps.
I guess we both have been so busy the last few days that we've not paid attention to the news but tonight I saw this list posted by a friend on a message board and I admit, the list of stores was surprising.
Is this a true list? There are a few I'm saddened to see... a few more I'm surprised to see and a couple more I just can't believe!

Footlocker closing 140 stores more to close after January
Wickes Furniture closing down
Levitz closing down remaining stores

Zales closing down 82 stores and 105 after January.
