This week on my trip to Costco I picked up a bag of John Soules Foods Angus Beef Fajitas. It's only the 2nd time I've purchased them but I have to give them a hearty "thumbs up".
Typically will not find 'convenience' foods like this in our household. I've always been one to say; "I can MAKE that cheaper! No way!" but in this case... I really can't!
With the cost of meat what it is right now I priced out buying 2 lbs. of steak and trimming it and seasoning it and then of course grilling it and slicing. In the end the flavor of this particular brand coupled with the quality and price make it a good buy for my family. At our local Costco it's $9.99 and to make it a meal for our family of 5 (and our 3 kids are teens with adult appetites; ages 17, 15 and 12) I cook 3 peppers and 1 onion until tender. Add the beef and when warmed through, serve with flour tortillas, salsa, some shredded cheddar and a little sour cream. Yum!
